Further Information/ Provenance: 

Harry Holloway
- built for AFS, but AFS disbanded before it was put in use. Subsequently used by Fire Prevention and Training as it had a BA Chamber. Possibly only once used operationally one New Year's Eve in the 1970s

Michael Bissett-Powell
- WW2 AFS station, but never actually used. It was used as a training centre immediately after WW2 as it had a smoke chamber.

- states "The Old Fire Station in Aveling Road has been converted into a handsome company headquarters" so is this a conversion of the original building, or a new build? Need confirmation
